These are the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned, and they are really flattering. The high waist actually is high enough, unlike many shorts/pants that are cut a bit too low and end up feeling tight.

The waistband stretches a bit as the days pass, and I use the side buttons to tighten them as needed. (This is my favorite feature of the Utility Pants, too!) A little longer than the corduroy shorts, they're perfect for me.
