These are definitely slim, and yes, slim around the back of the knee/calves especially, but I find them to be comfy and I love the silhouette. The weight of the fabric is just enough and I like that for this slimmer cut OK has added a touch of stretch without turning it into a stretchy pant. I love the "rinse" color--deep and beautiful. Only thing I could ask for are additional inseam options, shorter than 30. Would be very pleased if OK made chinos in a slim cut like this! In sum, highly recommend, I already want more of these.

I first got the straight cut jeans in a 34 waist and found that the cuffs were far too wide to be categorized as a straight cut jean. I decided to try these in size 34 despite seeing a lot of complaints about them being too tight around the calves. It seems that this is in fact a problem with these jeans. If they had more stretch that might help a bit. (I’m 5-11 / 190 lbs)
