I bought these shorts in lilac sand and ecru and absolutely love them! I am a true size, 25, or a 0, and based on reviews that said they ran true or slightly small, ordered size 25, which turned out to be slightly large on me. I exchanged for size 24, which is 00, and the fit is perfect. Based on my experience, I would say these shorts run slightly large. The cord material, style, colors and fit all work together to make these shorts ideal in every way. One review said they are really short, but I did not find that to be the case. For reference, I am 58 yrs old, 5' tall, 105 lbs. with an athletic build. They were a perfect length on me, and I don't wear short shorts. I highly recommend!

I respecially like the deep front pockets on these, but I think I might size up just a bit for a looser fit. These are a great summer classic...I wore something similar in the 70's:)))
